In-situ root imaging

See roots grow, without digging them up.

RootVision is a field camera buried beside the crop. Six cameras image the root zone on a schedule, RootSynapse stitches every capture into one panorama, and over a season the panoramas become a timelapse of growth below ground.

One cycle, start to finish

It wakes, it looks, it sleeps

Set a schedule once. At each cycle RootVision wakes on its own clock, focuses each camera, lights the soil and captures the full column. The images reach RootSynapse, which stitches them into a single panorama, and the unit goes back to sleep until the next one.
